Im looking for something like an Nl100-NL400 vid where the author is playng the way he plays normally to beat the games, and explains what he is doing only very shortly and briefly. Maybe multitabling like 6-8 tables with comments like "Here im gonna fold my overpair.." "Hmm i dont think i can fold this, its too much air and draws in his range"

Most of the vids contains so much thought process and talk about each spot, even minor ones, like 30 seconds explaining why we fold a hand in MP1 based on the opponents behimd or cbetting a bad board. I dont think every ghost video should be like that.

There is a LOT of videos here where you ghost a session so i wonder if anybody knows of a vid that is more like just sitting and watching the instructor play together with him, and not have him explain everything and make me confused.

Must be very easy and chill for instructors to make aswell i guess so i'd be surprised if it doesnt exist

i don't know of anything like that as of yet, but we can keep it in mind for a future series/standalone idea.

TBH, that's how many of the old style videos were from one of those other training sites and people demanded more and better video/production. DC raised the bar by having more complete thought process, less talk about WHAT the coach is doing and replacing it by WHY they are doing it, which is why the videos are often deep with explanations and not just a lot of describing which buttons they are clicking.

Be sure to post your idea in this suggestion thread: http://www.deucescracked.com/forums/7-Research-Development-/16118--THE-video-series-IMAGINA?page=15&per_page=30

a couple of anskys vids are pretty similar to what I think you're looking for. however, even though they're live and contain lots of tables with "short" explanations, the explanations are excellent.

you should search for live action vids. There is a bunch.

Thanks WiltOnTilt, and done.

I understand its important with explaining why the instructors does things, how without why is useless etc, but i also feel there might be TOO much of it right now at deucescracked, as detailed thought process is covered in every single video. I think that passively learning by watching a good player play has a lot of merit and lets you understand the exact game he plays better. Its difficult to remember how a player generally played, how he cbetted and stole blinds and 3betbluffed, if your mind is occupied listening to a lot of talk about ranges and maximizing value in 1 interesting hand that shows up. I also find that a lot of the time the instructor complains at some point in the vid about not getting time to discuss things since new spots comes up constantly.

Some time the best answers you get at stratforums is from the best players delivering two liners, not from a long respnse with detailed thought process. Because it forces you to think for yourself and understand why with your OWN "words" and reasoning. You will always understand a complete breakdown of a hand if somebody explains it well, but i dont think it neccesarily improves your ability to understand a new, similar spot the next time it shows up.

I recently found myself sitting watching nl400 fullring games to try and understand the difference in the gameflow there... it would be nice if i could see the best players hole cards.

I personally think ghosting videos should be more often than not seperated from Hand replayer videos where the instructor can talk in detail about his thought process. This will also be easier to understand and apply when you have a general feel for the gameflow and table dynamicy by prior to this watching him play.
