Here is a serious suggestion for improvement. Most PLO videos on deucescracked spend waaaaaay too much time talking about each hand, to a point where it really gets boring and annoying and I just want to stop the video. I really don't like the idea of spending 60min to watch 2 guys discuss just 5 hands, I feel like I'm wasting my time. I prefer videos that go "here i did this because 1,2,3" and the other guy does not intercept every 5 seconds. If this keeps going on, I'm seriously considering joining another coaching site. Just my 2 cents.

I hugely disagree here, but each to their own I guess.

I'd much rather listen to an indepth discussion about 1 hand rather than 'I'm raising here, he hardly ever has it, he folds, let's move onto the next hand' but instead we get to hear there thought process on what they would have done if villain took X action and what they would have done on the flop/turn/river if villain took X action etc.. If this is time wasting then I really don't know but I find these types of videos much more helpful than some ABC video where they only talk about the actions they took at the time and not talk about future streets..

Just my 2 cents.

Ok, i actually like the "if he does X, what would I do". Maybe I came off as a bit rude. Here is what I don't like, and please remember I only have positive intentions, I am paying for this site and I want to get the best out of it:

The guy interrupting deangelo every 5 second to reiterate something that was already said like 3 times. Deangelo keeps saying "right, right, yeah, sure", and I'm saying the SAME thing in my head, like "OK OK GOD WE GET IT", yet still the other guy has to repeat everything again and again. I don't mind the theory talk, but I like it to be efficient. We're not retards, we get it once something is said 1 time, no need to repeat it 10 times. The exact same thing can be said in 10 words or 100 words.

I think one of the main reasons for this general "rambling" is that it seems that there isn't much DETAILED preparation in terms of what is going to be said in these videos beforehand. Let's be honest. Any kind of academic lecture is prepared beforehand, otherwise there will be a lot of rambling and alot of "uuuuh"s and repeating stuff. I suggest preparing each big hand at least (writing down, for example, his range is XXX because he did YYY on street ZZZ, if I do this he will most probably do that, therefore I think this option is best here, with propokertools sims already done beforehand as validation, etc), then there would be way less rambling and trust me the video would be of much better quality. If the ideas/points are prepared beforehand, they can be stated in much less time than if you're going to come up with the ideas during recording.

cliffs: prepare the content of the video in some detail beforehand for improving the quality and less rambling.

fwiw I'm the guy "interrupting deangelo every 5 seconds" that you appear to dislike so much. First, I certainly don't mind criticism, so I appreciate your feedback. Now, a few counterpoints:

1) I know very little about HUPLO, so I was actually trying to ask a lot of questions in this video. Most of the extended talking I did was much more me trying to make sure I was understanding/verbalizing something properly rather than just rambling. Same goes for EP6.
2) Your point about things being repeated (as a bad thing) is actually incorrect, at least compared to public speaking in other areas. If you look at most solid lectures, academic or otherwise, the main/important themes are repeated time and time again - this is true even for the most technically advanced of material (I should know since I slept through many of them). That being said, if you really think things are being beaten to death in all of our (my) videos, I can try to be more concise in the future. I'm certainly not looking to put viewers to sleep. Smile
3) Neither John nor I "uhhhs" a lot unless it's used as a filler when thinking about a tough question. We (I) may be wordy, but IMO we're fairly good speakers.
4) We actually go through the preparation you suggest in several of the HH review videos in Hellomaha. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on the difference between those and this one.

Cliffs: While I disagree with some of your points, I can appreciate the general theme about overstating my ideas and trying to be more prepared(and frankly my opinion isn't important if the viewers think the vids are bad). I'll use less words more efficiently next season. Smile
