Hi Krantz, this hand on the left baffled me somewhat. Would you care to explain? Thanks, it's an awesome video!

haha yeah my analysis was pretty bad - "here it doesn't make sense for him to have anything" when actually he could have quite a bit

my hand is rarely better than Kx here (sometimes I'll have a flush), that's important - my range is weak, opponent knows this

his range - sets, top pair, flushes, all straight draws, heart flush draws, pure bluffs

all that + im a calling station - checkraising might be better than calling, hmmm...

hi jay,
i notice you 3bet most of the hands you wanna play from bb wich gives you a fluid 3betting range but almost kills your flatting range. Why do you 3bet hands like QT, QJ, KJ? Is playing postflop with initiative way more important then playing a big pot oop or its about something else?

Krantz, villain is 3betting to beat the band, but only to a psb. And your 4bets are getting shoved on...again & again & again. Plus villain is peeling very lite post flop & hero calling the river w/ bluff catchers. Widening your value range for 4betting/calling makes sense (e.g., ATo, pocket pairs), but it seems like you needed to call more 3bets on the button & then start value raising flops or bluff raising flops because villain just can't have it given his frequency of 3betting preflop. In fact, you could make a strong argument that you could value raise villains cbets in 3bet pots w/ 2 overcards. Smile

This makes even more sense since villain is only 3betting to a psb so you are getting great odds to call preflop. s/s.

Heyo Jay.
I have question about this hand T8 of spades on left hand table.

What do U think about calling this river?
I expect this guy to bet Qx, sth like AT and fdraws on this turn.

What do U think about his viewing of this K card on the turn ?

IMO its hard for him to represent flush that often, so call looks good.

Sorry for my ENGLISH :], if sth is not clear enough feel free and ask me / correct me :]

best regards

Majster

Cool you answered this 15mins later in video Smile

i change it up throughout the course of a match depending on how my opponent starts responding to my reraising... if i don't like what i'm seeing i'll start changing the hands i reraise, i'll start flatting bigger hands that i'd normally reraise, etc

i don't like calling over folding, but in hindsight i kind of like a checkraise!
