U say that driver can't "3-bet this river because it looks like Alex has 88". Now isn't that the benefit of waiting to the river with KK? He will get the reward (1 extra bet from smaller PP) but AA will almost always have a tough time 3-betting, because all river cards are scary in some way?

I think u are missreading Alex somewhat from what Ive seen in this ep. Yes he has made some loose pf-raises. But post flop he has played straightforward. For example the T9 hand where he refused to s-b 87x (this driverseat doesn't know obv). Also he has insta XF after getting 3-bet a lot. It can can be a tricky opponent I find, because it's easy to pay off too much thinking he is just crazy. But that's playing into his hands.

I'm not sure which hand this is as I'm on my iPhone. I assume it's the hand where he turns tp with Q9? I think this is a case where de said something: "no way alex has 57 preflop" and I just said: "nuh uh" and the original post flop decision kinds gets put on the back burner. I think your probably right.

Yeah that's it^^^^!
Thee's another hand where Nina defends BB with J5s (?) vs Alex and XC, XF on KQ9; 9. I can't find it. I think this is a misstake. I may be reading too much into this, but my guess is that Nina is thinking Alex is spazzy so there is no reason to push a marginal draw. But I don't think Alex will re-bluff and his range is soo wide that he is just gonna b/f a lot of air aswell as Ax (as it turned out he had Q9).
Perhaps I'm way out there, but this hand to me means that Nina is putting Alex on being a different kind of LAG than he really is. (Obv I have the benefit of seing the cards).
The reason I am soo fascinated by this is that I have faced similar players and made the same misstakes/wrong adjustments.

Yeah I don't think it's a mistake in a bubble, but I do think it's a mistake if he's never c/r bluffing his one card gut shots. I'm pretty sure he'll have a range that's way too unbalanced toward semibluffs if he always c/r his one card guts. With that said, he probably needs to do it a bit more vs alex than vs, for example, me.

I don't think AA will almost always have a tough time 3betting. If I'm in driverseat's position I'd 3bet K, Q, J, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 rivers. I'd be confused and probably just call T rivers but I'd be very tempted to 3bet.

+1. If im Alex that hand my last raise is on the turn and then thats it unless i hit my 2outer (if im beat). I think too many bad things can happen with this waiting for the river thing, escpecially on a drawy board.

Holecard camera videos are my favorite. I still say there needs to be a whole series with it containing players of various skill levels (could be done on cheezeburger steaks for the beginner types). I learn a lot from being able to see other players thought processes. Make it happen IMO.
