Hey DC!!!
So I'm sure most of you have seen me post around the forums over the past year or so. I have decided to go ahead and finally upgrade my membership and try and take my game to a new level. I'm also really trying to start working on my HU game as I'm just getting a little bored playing strictly 6-max. So now that I have access to all vids, I'm a little overwhelmed and don't know where to start.
I want to focus most of my time and energy on HUNL so that once I get my bankroll back in order I can dive right in. Also, what are peoples thoughts on depositing a roll online these days? I'm kind of hesitant being from the US putting a sufficient roll on a site like Merge where the cheapest HU games are $25NL. What would be the smallest amount all you HU guys would put on there or are there other sites that I should be looking at? Any help in any of these areas would be great!!!

Any site you, as a US player, put money on at the moment is going to be risky. Don't know what the games are like on Merge with regards to HU either.
How well rolled are you for NL25? Reason I ask is that starting there as completely new to HU on a short roll could be fairly catastrophic.
I don't keep more than 5 buyins on any site except Stars where I keep 10 as I think they've proven themselves to be the most trustworthy.
If you want my honest advice, and this is as someone who plays HU only, I would find another form to focus your attention on. Getting action at HUNL has become a joke, nevermind getting soft games. Even Stars, with it's great lobby rules and large player base, has become overrun by people sitting at even NL50 and not playing anyone that resembles a competent player. At NL100+ you'll almost never get a game running. Starting at HUNL now is a waste of your time and energy, you're much better off focusing on 6+ player games.
