I hope your next video continues this session. At first I thought it might get disjointed with 4 tables and all the skipping around, but it didn't. Great job and insightful commentary!
Sthief09 reviews part one (of two) of a long session he played, focusing on getting maximum value on his good hands, as well a broad range of topics from blind defense to playing in 3-bet pots.
Josh's highly-anticipated small-stakes No Limit guide. With all the widely available information on the internet, games are tougher than ever. This trickles all the way down to the small stakes and even micro-limit games. If you're not constantly improving, thousands of players who are will pass you right by, and as a result it's no longer good enough to be merely competent. Sthief09 moves from 50NL to 200NL, teaching you solid fundamentals, and showing you when it's correct to deviate from tight, straightfoward strategy. Whether you're a new player who wants to beat the small stakes games, or you're a veteran looking to increase your winrate and move up, this series will help you turn the corner on your poker game.

Yeah I just watched this and it's one of my favorite vids yet. Great work, Josh.

great vid, i love this series ![]()
Still don't like the format! The speed is too high for 4 tables, we are missing all the "minor" things like what hands you fold, where you cbet etc that can help to find our smaller leaks. Also the constant pausing and rewinding is extremely confusing. I stopped watching half way through. I think you should either copy the important hands you want to talk about into a replayer or make a standard live session.
Josh,
In a few of your videos you talk about making the villain call 10% of stacks when 3-betting PF. I usually 3-bet to 14BBs in position and 16BBs OP against a 4BB open with 100BB stacks. Are these sizes too big? Is the 10% of stacks rule tailored to make set mining a bad proposition for villain?

I agree. I think you should do 2 tables. I like the series but 4 tables is just too hard to follow.
Great video Josh.
Don't know what all the fuss about the format is about. I love it and have no problem following what's going on. Just follow his cursor. He puts it on the table where he's talking about a new hand. Also 4 tables allows him to come across more situations than just at 2 tables. If you guys want more discussion of certain preflop nuances I suggest watching FWF's vids where he explains nearly every decision that he makes live on 2 tables.
Great video. Keep it up, Josh.
i LOVE the format. wasn't confusing at all. +1 to one of my favourite vids so far. i think it's great that you rewind and talk about the important hands thoroughly. it solves the problems of 4 tabling where you don't have time. you MADE the time. looking forward to the next one.
i guess it's impossible to please everyone.
very high quality vid, thanks for this
good format and vid
What is the name of the software you use to play your hands back?

This video is just Josh playing back a video and re-recording it as he plays it back (Windows Media Player). When we do hand replays we use Popopop's Universal Hand Replayer but that isn't used here.
