any way to pay a smaller price for just a vid or two?
also, if i got a one month subscription are there any limits on # downloads? like would it be okay if i downloaded every video and then canceled my subscription?
thanks.
also i know this is the wrong section, but while i am at it, how much does coaching cost?

Individual vids priced differently? probably not. 30 bucks a month is a steal given the amount of content you'll have available. And of course theres nothing to stop you from signing up for one month, downloading everything, and cancelling, but then of course you wouldn't have access to all of the new videos coming out oh, say, EVERY DAY.
Coaching prices are listed in the coaching tab, individually for each coach.

8 serie videos a week + standalone ones comming, that is, lets say, 40 videos a month, so one vid costs you 75 cents. If you look at standalone prices of videos that are sold per piece - it is a fraction.
If you are not broke, no way you can pass this opportunity. If you are, check out vids while in trial mode, crush micro limits and buy a sub
.
Even if you are interested in one single serie (which I really doubt so), buying a subscription is cheaper than usual price for a vid.

oh. so yall think if i buy the 7 day trial and watch all those vids i can use them to win at really low stakes? i was doing well up until 25/50 cent limit then i tanked as soon as i moved up and lost all but $56. im not sure if its my bad playing or just a bad run of cards. i wish i could get stats on it, but pokerstracker is too expensive and i already used its free trial.

Well to be perfectly honest, most of our videos are tailored for players who have a pretty good idea of what's going on and have been winners for a while, but find themselves stuck at a certain point and want to get over the hump. That, or players who want to make sure that they stay on top of the game.
While we should be coming out with some more entry-level content at some point, your best bet right now for both your skill level and your budget is probably to pick up a few books, or just read and post a lot in the forums here and on 2+2.

A couple of things...unless I'm mistaken you don't need to "buy" the free trial, though you would need to remember to cancel within 7 days. Another is that PokerTracker will repay its cost many, many times over just from self-analysis, not to mention gathering info on your foes...who will be using PT to gather info on you. *
I'm sure the same is true of the videos and I'm sure the ones I've watched have helped me even though there is no magic potion here to produce instant results. The ideas will have to percolate for a while before they make coffee.
That said, a 2-month subscription to DC equals your entire current bankroll. If you think PT is too expensive you obviously don't feel able to make that sort of investment at this time. In my case that 2-month subscription equals half of my current bankroll. It seems like a reasonable idea to wait until winrate exceeds subscription cost!!! (...even though the subscription will increase the winrate)
* Caveat: if you're playing at sites that don't support PT then you should wait to buy it...otherwise I strongly recommend picking it up ASAP and studying your good and bad hands and then posting the ones that puzzle you the most. If you have a ton of such hands then spray them around across several boards so you don't flood any one board with too many hands.
