i watched nba league pass every night during whole season, playoffs even more and all conference finals and finals games so far
i hate miami for what they do and how they act and everything but like from a technique-basketball perspective lebron is prolly the best and most complete player ever.
Jordan played when handchecking wasn't a foul, and still averaged more than lebron. If he played in the league today and got the calls that lebron gets, where the slightest touch sends him to the free throw line and where an arm on the defender is a foul, he would have averaged 37 a game easily.
Jordan also shot something like 55% in game deciding shots. Obv lebron shoots way below his overall shooting percentage when the game is on the line.
Lebron is a great talent with great skill, but he has nowhere near the heart and competetive mindset that the great ones had.
Can you even fathom Jordan calling up barkley and ewing or bird and magic and saying "let's form an all-star team?"
on offense as anyone can see easy, esp vs doubleteams, but also defensively, esp versus the big scorers as durant with fronting them. when battier continue to hit his shots and/or chalmers makes solid plays like in the bostonseries miami gonna prolly win the series.
i HOPE though that okc can win one on the road and somehow win the series. but it seems like everything has to work for that to happen...durant further as good as he is, westbrook like in game 1, harden like in game 2 and collison, ibaka etc in good form. this is think where they can gain advantage. miami has 3 of the 4 best players in the series, okc has 6 out of the best 9. and a better crowd...if the series should go back to oklahoma
To be honest, I don't think everything has to go right for OKC to win. In fact, I think just one or two things have to go different, and that actually everything has been going right for the heat. I mean, they've been getting every call and Durant got in foul trouble the last two games, their shooters have been on (e.g. battier), Lebron actually made a big shot for once in game 2, and yet they still only squeaked by in the last two games. It's far from over, and from what I've seen Miami has had to play their best possible basketball along with getting all of the big calls (and getting a ton of BS calls in their favor) in order to win by a few in games that have been down by the wire.
noone cares about nba in germany. how are the finals received in us media? also a lot of lebron and heat hate there?
Yeah, lebron was super popular before he screwed over his hometown to form an all-star team instead of taking on the challenge like a true competitor, then threw a concert celebration and proclaimed that they would win 7 championships easily only to continually choke in the 4th quarter and lose to an underdog in the NBA finals, and then tell NBA fans that they still have to go back to their shitty lives while he gets to live it up.
