I had all these things on me because and friend and I were going to a computer store and I was thinking of buying some things. He drove me back to my house to get my car and a few disks. I remember thinking "I probably don't need this anymore" which leads me to believe I set it down, but I'm not 100% sure I did.
I've spent the entire day searching my house for it, but can't find it. I guess I'm going to spend the entire day tomorrow looking for it, literally searching every inch of my house. Any advice for me? If I was 100% sure I was robbed for instance, I'd be fine with that. It's the "not knowing" where it is and that it might be under a chair somewhere that is soo frustrating.

re-trace your steps and thought processes, from the last time you saw it. Also consider that your mind is sensible and clever so what would you do with it? (unless you aren't!)
I usually find mine in some safe sensible place and think, I'm glad I'm clever

Spent another 5 hours looking for it. Finally found it!!!
It was in my glovebox in my unlocked car on the street... I don't know what goes through my mind sometimes. Why would I ever think that to be a good place to keep that?
I think I'm going to put all my cash in the bank and just use debit card from now. This isn't the first time I've done something like this...

If you think you left the card somewhere in public, cancel it ASAP. I'm pretty sure they don't have the same bank protection as credit cards if lost/stolen.
I read somewhere it's better for your credit rating if you put the card on hold rather than cancel (and achieves the same thing). No idea if this is true though.

As far as I know, debit cards have no affect on credit ratings (since you're just spending money out of your account rather than buying things and paying later). What you said may be true about credit cards though.

I just wish that it won't happen again to you.Sometimes, those unwanted events happened without any expectation.Though,we take good care of our valuable things, still it happened.Whenever you encountered such situation, you can resort to cash advance.I hope it helps.
