Why exactly did chelsea deserve to win it? Was probably the worst teamperformance i've seen for years on this level. I remember times, where they actually played brilliant football.
This really got me thinking back to the day when Greece won the Euro Championship. Same tactics, but they had a team of nobodies instead of those excellent players Chelsea got. Hope Chelsea is not taking the same direction as Greece did ;-)

Whats more important, great performance, or the win. Yes we rode our luck and on chances they should have won but it is a knockout competition and not the season. We know we cant play this way in the league as it will never work, but we recognised that barca and bayern munich had better attacking teams and we did what we thought we had to do to stay in the game.
I take the trophies all day long rather than saying we played great football but lost 4-3.
Ask the west ham fans whether they still hate sam allardyce for changing the way they play football, now...

and that's exactly what I ment. It's like a fish at the table playing horrible, drops a few buyins, wins 89s vs KK and posts that he deserved to win it. He didn't deserve to win it, neither did the oponent (but in my eyes a lot more than the tilting fish).

well lets see:

chelsea just playes defensive football right now waiting for good spots to reattack and has the perfect players to do so (drogba etc) also has a very good defense with terry etc.

bayern plays good football but has the most useless striker imo gomez who needs 10 opportunities in front of the goal post to score. chelsea also has one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

i wouldn't call them fishes outdrawing KK exactly. they just play italian like defensive football especially against teams like barcelona etc and whats wrong with that?

Lampard still is a great midfielder, see how he plays week in week out in the premier league. Drogba is one of the best defenders on the team. In fact he could have played CB. Mata struggled to get in the game because he is a great player when we have possession and is better when he can have lots of touches and make things happen which was never gonna happen when we were gonna be dominated with possession. And its nothing like a fish outdrawing KK with 87s. More like someone who had KK and completely mis played it wondering why they lost. I.E. they limped pre, checked behind flop and turn, and called overshove on river when the flush came in. They couldnt take thier chances and we did. Drogba only needs one chance.

Na, it's not really the way you described it. It's more like bayern had AcKd the whole time versus chelseas QsJs, while chelsea managed to split the pot the whole time til Müller's 1:0. Then Chelsea won 1 time with AhKh vs AcAs scoring the 1:1 and 1 time with 22 vs bayern's AA while defending vs Robben's penalty. Then they decided to play some roulette and chelsea won again

anyways: I think it was really interesting to see how everyone was wrong. I mean, before the half-finals I am pretty sure no one was really thinking that a) the final would be bayern vs chelsea, b) chelsea would ever reach the final and c) that chelsea would win the cl
