Hey guys, my main poker computer effectively died today, was a dell. I'm looking to replace it with the cheapest alternative possible that will realise the full resolution of my 1900x1200 monitor (i know nothing about what level of graphics card is needed), the computer will only be used for poker so it doesn't need a great processor or anything. Also have a macbook pro that i could start using to play since i mainly play on stars but would have to switch to poker tracker and would also lose table ninja which i love, so any thoughts on people who play multi table on macs would be great. I generally 6 to 8 table, although I've been 4 tabling zoom lately. so any help would be appreciated, as you can tell I'm not a computer guy, thanks in advance

Just look for something with Intel I5 processor and 8gb ram.
Harddisc is up to you, depends what you want to save on your pc. If you only use it for poker and surfing the internet 100gb is more then enough. For HoldemManager its important you have nice ram and good processor imo.

would the i3 processor not be good enough? so instead of buying a cheap dell i should just put windows onto my mac, wud that be a better idea?

I currently run PT3 on my MacBook pro from 2008 and it's a little sluggish, butif youre concerned about saving money it is obv the most cost effective route.
Not sure if buying a bottom end dell would run it any better

I dont know anything about Mac's so I can't give you an anwser on that one but basicly you need a good processor and a lot of ram! Those two work together and its important they are both fast to run your poker client with multiple tables, HM and maybe tableninja or whatever. Don't try to save on the processor. I3 should be fine as well with 6gb ram.
