Playing in the Casino on Canada Day 1/2. Guy to my left is Italian and has just seen his team get pwned 4-0. no real reads except he bought in full and might be fishy.
Fullring.
Villain (Italian) CO: has 200
Hero BTN: has 360 behind
SB
BB
folds to CO who opens to 12
Hero is dealt KcTs, flats on BTN
SB folds, BB folds
flop: Js9s2s
pot (27): Villain bets 15, hero calls
Turn Qc
Pot (57): Villain bets 15, Hero raises to 45
Villain calls
River: Qs
Pot ( 147) : Villain leads for 50
Hero?
What do you guys think of pre flat. sb and BB were never 3betting. I could 3b here sometimes.
flop call is marginal, I figure he plays turn straight forward and small sizing is hard to know what it means.
Turn raise size?
River play?
Cheers
SECOND HAND VS SAME PLAYER
MP has 200
Villain (Italian) CO: has 250
Hero BTN: has 250 behind
SB
BB
folds to MP who opens to 12
CO tries to raise but just calls. He puts in chips before he announces raise.
Hero is dealt 6s4s, flats on BTN
SB folds, BB folds
flop: TsTc4d
pot (39): MP bets 15, Villain calls 15, hero calls
Turn 2h
Pot (84):MP checks, Villain checks Hero bets 50
MP folds , Villain calls
River: Ks
Pot ( 180) : Villain checks
Hero (170ish behind) bets 70.
Since I think in hand 1 villain leads strong hands on the river. I decide to bet river. might have messed up bet sizing though.

Hand 1 -- I fold preflop. You're behind his raising range with a pretty crappy hand. As played, I think you should fold the river despite the fact you're getting a great price. What hand do you think you are beating? A
K
that bet/called the turn and then decided to bluff the fourth spade river when you probably have a flush? 8
8x that called the turn and is now thin value betting? No, you're going to see A
x, K
x, QQ, JJ, 99, or QJ almost always here.
Hand 2 -- Fold preflop, you're nowhere near deep enough to call here (SPR is < 6 versus original raiser, < 8 versus other villain). As played you should fold the flop. You're betting the turn as a bluff? to protect your equity? because your opponents checked to you? for value? I don't understand it. And the river bet is a bluff? Trying to get folds from what exactly? Do you think 55 is calling the turn and then folding this river? I really can't follow your thought process in this hand, but based on the decisions you made, it appears severely flawed.

Agree with river in hand one. people are f-brutal live so I don't mind calling pre.
I did fold river. he said he flopped a flush with k7s or some shit.
Hand 2 - I flat the flop to float. i thought he would be just calling turn and folding river with all PP, he has very few 10's in his range since he is not donk leading river. which he did in hand one iwth a made hand.
Ty for comments.
