Entered the hand telling myself "this is a guy I do not want to bluff." Asian blackjack player who check/calls every single bet, every single time I have been in a pot with him. My long term image is LAG and can run large bluffs, However, I have adjusted to him and have been hammering him with thin value bets for the last week, and just giving up on pots that I miss.
I have 7c 5c
5 way limped pot, I am SB, he is CO. 700 effective stacks, 1-2.
As 8c 5s
I check, ch,ch,ch, villian bets 10, I raise to 40, villian looks for a second like he was planning to raise, and calls.
Turn 6 clubs
I fire 75, he tank calls (double suited, 3 card straight board, taking all sets out of his range for not raising this turn)
River K of diamonds.
I check, he gives me a large look of surprise (he was surely waiting to snap me off on a missed flush draw) , he bets 200 into 240, I jam, which is around ~325 more to him to call.
Reasons I like my bluff:
-Never see CRAI bluffs in these games, he will surely expect me to lead out with my bluffs
-Not afraid of running into a set, tho surely he could have a straight.
Thinks I hate
-Bluffing at 1-2
-Expecting someone to fold after putting in 200 on the river
-my image, his player type
-I cannot rep AK, AA, KK.
Thoughts?
