Ok, so one of the biggest ways of making money in live poker is simple C-betting when you're in position...I seem to make a ton doing this. But I've had a few spots where it seems kind of tricky when deciding whether to C-bet or not, and here is one of them.
Playing £1-£2, I'm sitting with approx £800 and am dealt T
T
in CO. Everyone limps to me and I make it £15. Every single player at the table calls. So we go 9-handed to a flop with £135 in the pot.
Flop is Q
8
2
It's checked to me.
No-one seems particularly interested in this flop, but there's a mix of good players and beginner players, so someone could easily be planning a check-raise with a set. Stack sizes vary from £100 to £1k.
So is this a board where you'd C-bet?
My thinking at the time was, that I'd be betting if I had AA/KK/AQ, so maybe I should. The only problem being, if someone calls, they MUST have a Queen or better, and I'm way behind, right? Surely no one would call with A-8 in this situation?

This WOULD be a perfect board to cbet if it we're like 3, maybe even 4 way. 9 handed the likelihood that someone spiked a queen is pretty high. Plus with the pot so immensely bloated you'd have to cbet around 70 for it to be half pot bet.
I think this is a check, maybe c/c if some random bets out small enough(like 15).

I think I'd be far more interested in your plan considering it is far from standard.
I can't even stove this.
I tried to put in 10/10, gave 4 guys any pair, any suited, any broadway, the other 4 randoms.
stove spits out nonsense symbols, and wants to explode.
So if your hand breaks pokerstove, the plan is checking and folding.

I would normally try and take 1 stab here and check back the turn unimproved re evaluate the board texture on the river? I'm not saying this play is superior by any means but there is 135 in there.
