call, bet 50ish on turn and fold to a raise. He could have any kind of weak Q with that mini raise. I still think we can extract value.

just like any hand, we cant assume to do any action unless we can assign villian a range based on previous information, without that information we are calling/betting blind

my assumption, as a standard, minraises from fishy villians generally arent a good sign of weakness

"sweet i beat TP, he cbet, he must have TP but i dont want to scare him away.......??? minraise, that'll get a call"

While minraises do generally scream strength, I also see it when players hit top pair a LOT. They think you are simply cbetting and will minraise with top pair to "see where they're at." If the board were dry, then I'd be all for calling and letting villain value-town himself. However, because 1 - villain also has some draws in his range, 2 - we are short-stacked, and 3 - live players have a hard time folding top pair (especially on a wet board when they can talk themselves into thinking you have a draw), I like shoving here. If he has a big stack, then there's a higher chance he will call your shove. It also doesn't hurt that you recently lost a hand and he could simply think you are steaming.

I don't see how you can't get this in 60bbs deep in a typical live 1/2 game.

I've been making it 7.5bbs a lot lately too. This allows me to get max value as people still call a fair amount, while also thinning the field a bit too. I've been toying with the idea of making it $20 and do if there are multiple limpers. Once people realize they won't be able to see a flop without calling that much, then they start calling it. And when your range is stronger than theirs, then tis all good Smile

Terrible advice a call is most definately pot commiting so you should either be calling with a plan or jamming. I would jam.

Edit: it seems to me like you actually didnt look at stack sizes so mistakingly gave bad advice and not unkowinlgy.
