I was in a live 1-3 game at a midwest casino...The game was sort of loose passive...There was a lot of calling of flop raises but the majority were released after the flop after a C-bet or other flop bet. The villain here had been on a bit of a run and had about $650-700 in front. He was by no means a great player but he seemed to be playing within himself and strait forward...value betting his good hands and throwing away bad ones. I had about $350 in the BB. A nut was UTG and straddled to 6, villain makes it 30(he raised a straddle to 30 2 hands prior w KK) all fold to me and i make it 75 w the red KK, straddler folds (and acts like he cant believe hes folding). the villain takes very little time and calls the 75. I immediately feel like hes got AA or QQ and a very slight possibility of AK or JJ(KK i threw out for obvious reasons). Flop: Q73 all diamonds. I bet out 75 and he wastes barely any time and makes it 250. this would nearly put me all in. I am at least 90% sure he has AA or QQ and had just flopped a set or has me beat by AA. I have 9 outs to both hands..unless he has AA w the A of diamonds. with about 500 in the pot and approx 200 to call im getting about 5:2. So I'm essentially a 2:1 dog vs 75% of my read and a HUGE dog vs 25% of my read. Thoughts?
