Any backdoor anythings on the board?
I think you're behind here the majority of the time -- I just always see someone donk the goods when they're scared you won't continue betting the turn (not that they're coming to this conclusion using any logic, just imposing their playing style on you). Getting 4.5-1 with about 6 outs I think I'd be tempted to call down vs an unknown. But I don't know if an average player at 8/16 is doing this with a worse hand than you often enough in relation to the size of this pot.
No backdoor draws.
Yes, it almost seems that check/call-donk is stronger than check/raise-bet here. As if he was going for a check/call-check/raise, but then thought the king might scare me into checking behind so he bets.

Tbh I don't know why I asked about bd draws...it's not like that many people, especially not unknowns, are semibluffing bd anythings often enough. Err, and it's not really a semibluff if its a donk either.
Yeah its the mental switch I have to make coming from 6max online to 9 handed live...sigh. Same goes for 3betting someone when I realize they only raise with about 4% of hands.
