2/5 NLH
Starting stacks:
MP1: $350 calling station
BTN: $450 TAG
SB: $700 L/P
Hero BB: $1250

MP1 opens for 20, BTN and SB call, Hero rr to $100, all call

Flop: 6c9dTd

SB checks, Hero???

I can bet 300, committing MP1 and BTN.
What if SB CR, can I fold for 300 more?

The table plays fairly loose, what they calling with?

For some damn reason I always smell a set on this board

Thoughts thanks!

I think you can probably get away with betting 200-250, and accomplish the same thing as 3.
2 of the players left in the hand don't even have a PSB left.

You also have straight blockers, do you have Qd?

I don't know how your game plays, but in mine a lot of the donks play flush draws like they're the nuts. So on this kind of board it wouldn't be uncommon for someone to ship a flush draw.

I would bet around $250 and would call any shove.
Bet all in on turn if called by the larger stack.
There is no way I am folding this hand post flop with this low of an SPR (SPR of 1.5 against the biggest stack)

If you can smell a trips based on nothing but a call on the flop, then you're going to be rich.

In the hypothetical situation where the small blind check-shoves the flop, is 140bb effective too deep to stack off with an overpair? Is the dead money in the pot a huge factor?

Given the size of the pot preflop, you're going to get called by worse. I wouldn't love calling a C/R from
the loose passive player on the small blind though. I would bet about $150 here, the is no point betting
$250 since if someone has a set you'll be pot committed. I'm pot committed here against the MP and the button, but not against the loose passive player in small blind.

If you get raised on the flop by the MP or button, and S/B just calls, you should hold your nose and shove.

This hand would be much more interesting if the stacks were deeper. Given the stack sizes I'm almost
never folding this hand unless the flush comes in on the turn or the river.
