I open in the CO with QJ of clubs, sb and bb call. It's the beginning of my session and I don't know them, although I recognize that sb is a chip runner.

Flop is QTJ all diamonds.

Checked to me and I bet. Sb raises and bb folds. I call to raise a safe turn. (comment please).

The turn is the K of diamonds and he bets. What are your thoughts here?

Generally I think I 3bet the flop here, but that might be a bit of a leak I have in general with live LHE.

On the turn I think I'd fold here because we are drawing to 4 outs and the pot doesn't seem big enough. We might even be drawing dead here. Pot on the turn is 5big bets so we are getting 5:1 which isn't enough as I don't think we are able to call down unimproved?

This is a limit holdem hand.

Yes, thanks for the confirmation. I see so much FPS at the commerce (which is great btw) that I often second guess pretty standard situations after my session.

I don't see how even a FPS player will be taking this line without a hand that has significant equity vs us here. Basically I don't see any combos he will check call this flop then check raise this turn that we are ahead of.

I think a flop 3-bet is fine. Online I'd call/raise a little more often but live people tend to check the turn too often after c/r the flop.

I'd most likley fold turn. Pot's relatively small (drawing-wise) so you're not priced into a 4-outer. Raising as a bluff might not be terrible, if there weren't a good chance of him holding the ADiamond here. I'd be looking very carefully at the tempo he bet and basically try to see whether he's giving anything away. Your line would look credible if you raise here, I'll give you that. I'd say fold > raise > call IMHO.

I agree with both of you. It's much clearer now.

On the flop I have 54% equity base on my range estimate so a 3bet would have been sweet, especially, as mentioned, because he may not cbet every turn. When the turn comes and he bets, I drop to about 10%, so it's a clear fold.

Thanks.
