First, the sound goes out in the mp4 file at the 1:50 mark and I have to restart the video to get any sound at all.

I feel that you gave too much credit to Coachfl towards the end, especially on the paired boards. Earlier in the session(TSig: 1:08) there was a 3-way flop(8JJtt) with you, TitaniumBlue, & Coachfl. Coach donks the flop on a paired board, TitaniumBlue raises, you fold, and Coach check folds a blank on the turn. I think based on that hand, and the fact that this is the 4th time he has either donked or raised a paired board would make calling or raising with AT on a KK5 board a better play than folding. Especially since he had started to play more aggressive overall compared to some of the much earlier reads and his stats are 48/5/2, or something close to that, which seems very unusual. It seems possible to me that you made an early read off of Coach, he caught on to you giving him as much respect as you were and you probably should have played back at him there if not sooner.

I think the sound issues may have been with the copy you downloaded, given that it worked fine when you restarted the video (somehow you loaded an incomplete version). The whole vid played back fine for me on my first load.

As far as the discussion around Coachfl goes, we discussed that quite a bit near the end (I know, it's a looooooooong episode). While I agree that at some point we need to begin looking him up as he seemed to get bluffier on paired boards as the game went on, we still never did see him show down a bluff when he raised, so it's not clear cut -- I think I probably would have been a lot more showdown bound, like I said, if I had a hand like JJ or TT on a KK4 board than I ever would be with AT, because I think there's a bit more of a parlay that he could have A4, Kx, and 55-QQ very often leaving me with not as many outs when behind and not as much equity to showdown vs. his range. I'm not 100% sold that he was bluffing air there yet. That said, I think it's a valid point and I was leaning a lot more toward calling him down more thinly in the future.

I also downloaded the mp4 version of this video and can confirm that the audio goes out at 1:50. That is not terribly bad since only the last two minutes are missing, but still it would be nice if this could be fixed. This seems to be the same problem as with the latest Pistolas de Justicia episode, where the audio broke off after about 45 minutes (that video seems to have been fixed by now).

Oh -- 1:50 as in 1hr, 50min. LOL. I was thinking you guys were talking about 1min50sec (typical notation) and was very confused how he could know that much.

I will look into it and see if I can reproduce the file if necessary.

Sorry about the confusion, Rob ;-) Any updates on this?

Further to the Coachfl discussion:

One hand that stood out to me was at 1hr 11mins. It was immediately after the hand where PygmyHero OR 83s in the sb. The two of you were discussing that hand and missed Coachfl raise a Jc6c2c-Ac-Ks turn w Qs6h, and then bet the river after being called (by Qh5c). I was waiting for PygmyHero to add it to his notes. Picasso had OR the sb and bet the flop & turn. I'm assuming you missed it ... or was it not note worthy because it was bvb?

btw I thought both this and MLG 1 were excellent and I'm going to have to go back and watch them both again very soon as I'm sure I missed things the first time through.

Hi Hat and Beard, I must have missed this hand. It's impossible to catch everything when I play, but even moreso during a video when I'm listening to Rob and we're often discussing a hand that occurred in the past. In any event, I think the hand you describe is certainly noteworthy. Smile
