So this weekend I ran into a couple similar situations that I've never really stopped and thought about and am wondering if I'm playing this right or being a spew addict

SO anyway both 8/16 games

The first hand main villian(sb) is a pretty good playing tag. Frequents the 20/40 game frequently. The other is a complete fish(mp). I've played with him a few times. When he runs good at the 3/6 game he moves up and tries to play the same way and win at higher limits.(limping 85% of hands calling down any pair hoping to improve then calling river).. The guy in the hj is in the highest form of love with betting really marginal hands than anyone i've ever played with. I've seen him 3 barrel(for value) a pair of 2 on an a a k 10 j board.

So our mp fish raises 2 calls to me with J7 on the button and call. SB tries to complete and then is forced to call as the BB auto calls the raise. The BB says I wouldn't have played this hand for a raise.

The next hand was involving a really good playing 2+2er tag. in utg+1, a mostly unknown young asian woman(MP) that played like she was angry. Very loose and aggressive. and pretty good playing tag on the button.

The Ugt+1 opens, MP calls, Button calls, I call 46. BB calls.

i check, mp bets, i call.

I'm wondering how many raises/if any I should be putting in on those turns?

i think both hands could be folds preflop honestly but coldcalling can't be a giant mistake.

hand 2 i'd raise the flop with your monster combo draw. you are a clear equity favorite multiway. i'd 4bet the turn as played.
