Hey All,
I'm going to be producing some LHE shorts for DC in the coming weeks. I'm looking for ideas, concepts, hand histories, etc. that the community may be interested in. Live/Online, doesn't matter to me.

I've only ever played no limit and would one day like to be a complete poker player and play LHE as well as other games. Obviously most limit players made the transition the other way around from limit to no limit. How to I do it vice-versa?
- table selecting in modern online LHE games
- HUHU contents maybe?
- GTO concepts
After a year of Live Poker, I still feel like a fish in a lot of "non-FLHE strategy" situations. I'd like to see something that deals more with the intangibles of playing Fixed Texas in a live setting. Reads/Tells/Game Flow/Etiquette stuff.
- Defending marginal hands in the BB vs a Steal and how to play them profitably post.
Posted a thread recently with more detail here: http://www.deucescracked.com/forums/5-Beginner-Limit-Hold-em/topics/517451-2-4-6m-Blind-Defense-Ques?
- Decision when not to c-bet the turn, inPos or OOP, and reasons why, is something I have come up all the time.
+ Possible corollary, good spots to C/R the turn as the PFR
- Situations where we should be delaying our aggression to the turn facing a flop C-bet and reasons why
Reviewing this weekends match up that Negreanu is playing?
How about a short dealing with whether to go ahead and bet-3bet the flop, or wait/delay and put a raise (or check-raise) in on the turn. What matter more: opponent, board texture, actual hand, etc...
1- Underlying theories (Bryce Paradis type material).
2- Same as above, please. If many of your shorts were of this type, I'd be really really happy.
3- How to review your sessions/hands in live LHE.
-- If it's hand history type material, please go over the rest of your range, and what you'd do if your opponents took a different line of action (BBB often does this in his current series and it's great).
I can't wait. We need more diversified LHE material around here, and especially more LIVE since a lot of us are offline.
Super stoked for this! Are you currently taking hand history's?
Is Small Stakes LHE beatable? ![]()
Feel free to send me hand histories via PM here on DC. I can't guarantee I'll use anything, but I'll definitely take a look and if it's interesting put a short out.
Good ideas, keep them coming!
Even at 20/40 and 40/80 there is essentially an auto chop in bvb but five handed there is a no chop rule (in this casino I frequent). Some bvb strategy would be very helpful especially to save money in the sb.
I am also curious if any of your content would add in live material that will touch kill/ overs. In some scenarios both.
straddle pot dynamics
time pot dynamics
what are some of the most common angles that you see in your games; what to look for and how to avoid the situations
live poker session lengths/how do you handle breaks/how do other players/etc
ipod/ipad/phone/kindle/book/knitting/calligraphy/whittling at the table: necessary to pass the time, focus-reducer, both, other?
I'm wondering if you could somehow make a short involving constructing maniac hand ranges? I'm having a tough time with at and quite tired of thinking "well, he could having any two here". If there already is a vid or post on this please pm me a link but I haven't seen it.
