I agree theoretically with limping the sb against good players, but I find it's difficult to stay balanced postflop. I tried playing this way for a bit, but felt so uncomfortable with my ranges that I'm back to raising until I can take the time to really figure out what I'm doing.
I know exactly what you mean numbnuts. The trick I found is just bluffing a ton more on the flop when you have backdoors / random overcards and stuff. The thing that feels icky is the pot is pretty small and you don't flop anything very much, so when you do flop something you sorta subconsciously realize "wow I kinda always have it" while checkraising flop.
