These are all hands from a session I had recently.
These lines are all non-standard getting out of line in seek of maximum EV. All raises are for value (not bluff)

3 of these worked as planned, 1 did not. Can you spot the one that didn't work? hehe and any comments about hands will be fun.

Hand 1 Villain is a professional.
Hand 2 Villain is an extremely solid tag who knows me well.
BB in hand 3 is an idiot lagtard recreational player, CO in Hand 3 is same as the BB in hand 4, a professional who has played tons with me.

Do you mind saying the approximate stakes? Would be helpful to me at least. Also, you might do better posting one hand per thread Smile

I like hand 1 but I'm having a little trouble putting villain on a reasonable hand unless he took a WA/WB line which isn't much en vogue these days as far as I know.

The only hand I immediately dislike is hand 2. I think 3betting the river is a big aggro and doesn't have a lot of value in getting called by worse.

Hate #2, dislike #3 (miss too much value by not v-betting yourself) , fan of #1 and #4

USD $30/60.

This was more of suposed to be a game. Three of these plays worked, one did not.

This is absolutely a brag thread. These lines I took are insane IMO.

I have history with all of these villains, they are experts and we are leveling now.
That's the only reason I can make these plays.

Would you be willing to reveal your secret identity? I'm quite curious who's been running so hot lately Smile

Lines arent excactly insane. Hand 1 is super standard, hand 2 is terribly played against anybody who is competent, hand 3 is actually quite good, and hand 4 is also quite standard once u miss the turn cr going for the cr again on the river is clearly the better play unless your opponent will show down K/A high but not bet them himself. The latter is a concept Bryce Paradis harped alot on.

Hand 2 was against someone who has a bracelet in a LHE event, and is one of the best thinking players I know Frown he had KJ, and called the 3bet.

Hand 3 is against someone who wrote a 2p2 book on LHE, and it is the hand that I lost. (He had KJs).

Writing a book doesnt make you an expert, neither does winning a LHE-bracelet as LHE tournies are quite awful to play. Never the less, you shouldnt be resultsoriented, and anyway i`ve said what i wanted to say in this threadSmile
Except that i think both of the plays you just revealed the results in i think are bad from your opponents pov as well.
