Probably a slight disadvantage of 4-tabling and live commentary here

On the bottom right the previous hand you had KTs and folded to bbs99's 3-bet which is fine but he fired all 3 streets on a QQ792 4 spade board with Kc4c so not only is he 3-betting hands that weak, he's a barrelling machine.

That said you now pick up ATs in the Big Blind and fold to his 3-bet of a UTG raise.

It's an interesting spot here becasue all right bbs99's more than likely over aggro and you're ahead of him but you also have a UTG range to deal with. Personally I'd like to cap here. You figure to be way ahead of the 3-better's range and UTG will have worse hands.

Bottom Right:

What is your plan here when you check the river if MI bets and would you ever C/R this board either as a bluff or with a monster hand?

Top Left with K8 on the turn.

I would probably fold here on the turn.

You can't VB the Kd or 8d so you could be drawing to a 3-outer here. You're almost certainly not best and you're getting a little less that 7-1. I think your initial assesment is fine and that the hand's probably a fold.

Bottom Left

I see this quite a bit, guys will just get a hand and go "I'm NOT FOLDING THIS NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO!!". Usually it's like AK and you see the snap call turn and river desipte the board being like JT976 with 3 of a suit by the end of it.

It just seems to be a potentially lazy thought process which is more like "he could be bluffing I'z got Sd value" rather that "Ok what's his range, what's my equity> etc etc"

OMG *BARF*

FWIW I think the river was perfect, you beat QsTs and pretty much nothing else that hasn't spewed at some point.

I actually quite like the flop donk 4 way.

Interesting turn decision. I mean what hands on a 8467sss board go for the donk/call/donk line from a good player vs a good player? A5 with As maybe? I'm just a bit confused overall by how a move like this can be fit in to an overall strategy.

I mean usually if we try to prevent free card it's by 3-betting the flop.

Very impressed at the lack of raised voice, swearing or otherwise shock

Edit: OIC it just took a few minutes Wink

Great vid DD

The problem with the flop raise is that the pot is pretty big and the SB will still be getting a decent price to continue although he has to be concerned about not closing the action. Since the board is coordinated your raise may not get too much respect . The SB may decide to get all his money in since he is short. I don't think you have much value in a raise and will likely get played back at often.

I prefer calling the flop and possibly raising a blank turn. A blank would basically be any non broadway card. If it was HU between you and the BB I could see making a freeshowdown raise. If you get 3b here you wouldn't be forfeiting too much equity with what would most likely be a two outer. Disregard this if you feel the BB could 3b with a big draw on the turn.

If the SB called as well I think I would still raise a blank to protect my hand, although I may abandon the raising plan and fold if a club hits.

6:50 You make a comment that since the player to your right just cold called a raise that he would be a candidate to 3b light. Could you expand on this? It would seem to me a player like this would be tighter with his raises.

thanks

I was going to fold I think. I would have value bet if I didn't get counterfeitted. I think its a bad spot to CR with much of anything vs specifically him, most of his hands are bluff catchers there. I think I should have even bet my hand maybe.

Well, even though I know what you're saying about his preflop ranges given he coldcalls some things, an average bad 15/30 player still open raises a lot of hands. So the overwhelming principle for me is just to get into pots with bad players, and the fact that I'll have position is even juicier Smile
