Despite the fact that I argued for a re-bluff, I can't agree with this. Honestly you just gotta get over it. Do you know how many times I've called with jack high and got shown a set, or worse, a king high? It's embarrassing and awesome at the same time!
brag alert!!!

One of my favorite live hands of all time was when the board was double paired (forget exact texture, AAJJx I think) and you called with 9 high. Your opponent said "I have a Ten" and you just knocked the table sadly.

you should call down because you beat all his draws and have 6 outs vs his made hands.
This.
Although its amazing how often i get owned by Q8o or something here
I cant see any point in 3betting this flop tbh.

What's your cutoff for rebluffing, or do you do it on this board texture ever?

Prob J high will be my worst bluff catcher here, although looking at the board texture its prob no different to T high but i need to draw a line somewhere, particularly against bad players who will bluff with better
Its player dependant. Vs a better player or someone who understands hand values I would treat T high the same as J high here

Deepsquat the fact that a fish will bluff with better is why we are discussing re-bluffing, not just calling down.
Yeah definately get that, but can we really assume on this board texture that an unkown will be turning exactly K/Q high into a bluff?
Obv he is very likley to be weak given the pf action/board texture but i think we would be targetting such a narrow range by rebluffing here that i wonder if it it becomes worth it
Surely J high would have to be the strongest hand you would "rebluff" on this board?

Missed the read of villain being a "weird lag". But given that read doesnt it seem more likely we want J high as a bluff catcher if we want to showdown here?
Especially given the fact there is no FD possible (Prob minimizing the J/Q/K high combos) and the unlikely event that he would fold a weak pair before SD...
