Villain is 32/17/1.12 over 100 hands. No notes on him yet.

Im lost on the turn here, no idea how to play this.

When he bet the riv i think hes either very strong or he is bluffing with a naked diamond.

Anyway, help me out Smile

Id rather bet the turn than call a river bet.

I dunno tho. I am pretty lost as well in spots like this.

8 on the turn is such a killer card, I like checking turn and folding river.

I misread the action. For some reason I thought villain was PF aggressor, c-betting flop and checking turn.

I agree with Chris. Such a bad turn for you implying your equity really isnt that awesoem making the price for contesting the pot unappealing. Giving up is just fine as you will still win it UI when he checks A2 or whatever on 5th

ok, I will pick a fight with two heaveyweights. I mean 3, Deep.

If i am wrong its because I am adjusting my ranges badly.

we have plenty of equity to call the river,
we have induced on the turn, and to protect our meager equity and we dont want to face a raise properly IMO and must call river.

even if you think he peels tighter than normal its still a call.

we beat lots of un-paired Aces(course they wont bet the river..hhhmmm), we beat QJ QT that are trying to get our A to fold.
(here I might be wrong, depending on how good this guy is)
we beat JT.
tons of hands with one diamond call this flop, making villains peel even wider.
its close but a river call. NH DEEP!

I need/want to add that,
villain should consider betting some of his bad aces on the river,
because we are thinking of folding a big ace.

also, my range adjustments are somewhat dependent on villain raising at least some of his "hits" on the flop.
if hands like 78s A9 55 are still in his range at the river, this changes things some,
but I still think we need to call the river.

Hey Mick,

Tbh, im still not sure on this hand. I can see what DD and oink are saying, i mean if the turn card was 2x, 3x, paired the board etc it would be a much easier call on the K riv.

I guess the reason i should fold this riv is the reason i checked the turn, that is that the 8 is such a bad card. Meh, i dont know, i think its close.

Thanks for chiming in mate, i agree with your logic!
