Villain is a complete unknown, ive only played about 10-15 hands at the table.

Given the board texture, do you auto-raise this riv vs an unknown? It wouldnt be a horrible way to play a FD my villain on the flop

I think the raise is fine if you feel comfortable folding to a 3 bet, I think the only thing that sucks here is putting in 3 bb on the river, so I'd raise/fold or just call depending on my read and honestly probably a little bit on my mood (or proximity to tilt).

i think you should raise the river for value and have a really basic fold playing 8-16 on pretty much any site. there's no reason to assume an unknown has went completely mad here often enough to call that river 3 bet, but also no reason to give an unknown enough respect (or whatever) to just call the river. so raise-fold is the sweet spot here.
