SB is 41/13/1.3
OTB is 47/9/1.6

No notes other than they are both bad players (obv).

Pretty sick spot, looks like a close fold. If Button were a tough good player I think 3 betting turn to get him to fold AA would have merit (just saying, I know its random). I think the chance he has a straight/set is greater than him just waking up and CRing 98 here which is all you can realistically put him on that you could continue against, and then the button is still lurking.

yeah I think its a fold. This hand looks like it could get capped again on the turn, and if you are likely drawing dead.

I def. think it's a fold but I don't think it's all that close. You're just looking at calling two more too often for you to even consider this a 7.75:1 spot.

Anyone think I shouldn't be 3betting the flop?

The only reason not to would be to set up a turn CR, 3 ways with not enough info on the button, no way, 3 bet is my play every time.

Your posts make me happy DD Grin. I thought the flop 3-bet was very clear and that the turn was a close fold (I folded) given the retarded villains. Nobody but Oink seems to agree with me on 2p2 :-(

man if DC was around like back in the party era LHE games NEVER would have been good haha. Jeez they're like all-star threads.

I really think this is a fold fwiw - you occasionally see a stupid hand like As7s from the SB here but then, well, we still have to beat the button who has finally decided to 3-bet us for once.

And yes this is close imo.

Looks like a clear fold to me. I think you're in third place and up against AA or KK in BB (he re-raised both flop and turn). I think SB has at least a set, prolly 88 here who knows, maybe even KK.

There might be a very slim chance you and button both have AK but SB has both of you beat. What did they have?
