I deposited $50 into Party Poker one night in early 2005 and somehow luckboxed my way into a $20 win with my expert limp-calling style at .5/1 limit hold'em. With that profit I bought Lee Jones' "Winning Low Limit Hold'em" and discovered that, in fact, I sucked and was doing everything wrong. I resolved to get better, and have been playing and studying the game ever since. Later that year I transitioned into no-limit cash games (first full ring, then 6-max) and never looked back. I've since graduated college and started life in the real world, but poker's stayed with me and I'm now a regular at the shorthanded 2/4 NL games on Full Tilt.

I play a tighter, more disciplined game than most, which I consider to be one of my greatest strengths both as a player and a coach. Many smaller-stakes players are drawn to the allure of the sexy LAG, but forget to first master the fundamentals required of successful players. I can help players from 25NL to 200NL plug the leaks in their game and gain a better grasp of the concepts (hand reading, exploiting your image, balancing hand ranges) required to become solid winners at their current level and move up to tackle the next.
