I started playing NLHE cash games about 3 years ago after making the transition from mid stakes SNGs. Once I reached 2/4NL I started to tread water and realized how much I still had to learn about the game. At this time I was lucky enough to start a coaching program with MDMA, who I worked with for over a year. With his help I rapidly moved up in stakes, making it to 5/10NL in successive months. After consolidating my position in the 5/10NL and 10/20NL games on Party I moved on to play in the nosebleed games on the Cryptologic Network as 'lanausee' and 'cocteau'. Here I played 25/50NL+ and the £100/£200NL game regularly against anyone who'd sit with me and had a great deal of success. During this time I graduated university with a degree in English and American Literature and bought a beautiful flat outright with a large portion of my bankroll. Since then, I've been playing anything from 2/5NL to 50/100NL on various European sites, choosing to take a less cavalier approach to bankroll management and game selection.

Throughout this period I've coached numerous different players at various levels of development (all the way from 1/2NL to 5/10NL) many of whom have gone on to become good friends. At this stage in my poker 'career' I find I enjoy coaching more and more and playing less and less - helping my students achieve their goals has become a more rewarding endeavor.
