After taking a few months to focus solely on my HU game I've reintroduced my original bread and butter, 6max NL Hold'em, into the mix and now play a healthy amount of both games. I currently play $400nl - $1,000nl with the occasional stint at higher stakes. My style has changed a lot over time and as a result I've grown to understand the game in more ways than one. I have worked with and currently work with: 6-max players venturing into HU, heads up players headed into 6-max, as well as HU players who are polishing their skills and working to move up in stakes.

My coaching is a mixture of discussion, sweating, video review, and hand history overview. I have a good grasp on how to convey my knowledge which is a key part of being a coach. You're not always going to click with a coach - I like to start out with the standard sweat session which allows me to talk with you, see where your head is at, where you are in your progression, and get a taste of your play. No packages are necessary for that, so just getting an hour or two to see how we work together is what I would recommend. Besides the sessions I am often available on AIM to go over hands/theory. I’ve had some great coaching myself and have been lucky enough to spend time talking with great players which has had a huge impact on my game. The coaching I’ve done so far has proven to be very successful and a lot of fun for me, and I look forward to working with some of you in the future.

"After placing fifth in a 10+2$ tourney on FTP I cashed out a significant amount of the winnings and left some in my roll to play 50 NLHU. After rushing up to $1500 I quickly down swinged and lost it all back. This is when I made a decision to really step up my game and take poker more seriously. The best idea of my poker career was to talk to Lior, a personal friend of mine and a consistent heads up winner. After some discussion of my recent poker background we decided on teaching schedule at 50 NLHU. Immediately he found significant leaks in my game including betting size, flop texture analysis and value betting. From this help my game has improved 10 fold, I am now consistently beating 100NL and 200NL heads up. At 50nl my bb/100 is 17.87 with a profit of 1k over 11k hands. At 100NL my bb/100 hands is 40.42 with 7700$ profit over 19k hands, and at 200nl my bb/100 is 6.95 for a profit of 2k over 15k hands." - iliveinabox
