Mike started player poker 3 years ago as a Freshman in college. After losing his book money playing SnG's he decided to learn how to play and discovered the 2+2 forums. From there he got into tournaments and was fortunate to have quite a bit of success playing those. Despite his results in small stakes tournaments, he grew sick of the variance and playing for four hours just to make $50 after losing a coin flip, he then decided to learn NL cash. After a terrible start he discovered 3-bet and received HU coaching from Jsnipes. Now a winning regular at the HU SSNL/MSNL he's happy with his poker future.

One of Mike's greatest passions is baseball. After playing throughout high school and one year of college, he decided to get into coaching baseball. Thoroughly enjoying that he now wants to give back to the poker community through coaching. After learning a lot through DeucesCracked he looks forward to teaching many of the principles that he's been taught.
