Micro/Small Stakes

I started playing poker in homegames in late 2006, quickly falling in love with the game I promptly got online and busted a couple of $50 deposits before finally getting into the grove and building a roll at Full Ring Micro Stakes NL.
Up until late 2009 I was primarily a full ring player at $1/$2, however my style is very positionally aggressive and is more suited to short handed play so since the beginning of 2010 I've switched over to exclusively short handed play.
The majority of my early poker improvement came from obsessive study of the theory behind poker, I'd always be looking to break poker down into smaller games and attempt to use math to figure the most optimal lines. I enjoy talking and thinking about poker with anyone that will listen.

I've been coaching since 2008 both shorthanded and fullring, with students from NL25-NL200. I know many of the typical leaks of micro-small stakes players and my aim is to both remove them from my students games and teach my students how to exploit similar leaks in their opponents. I'm also available to regular students for occasional questions and hand histories between sessions.
Many of my students have had similar problems in certain areas of their games so I've condensed many of the important concepts into some articles and quizzes which all of my students get for free.
"Paddy is excellent at explaining poker concepts and seeing the essential aspects of each hand/spot, and in addition gets across very well the psychology of playing versus various opponent types."-Cathal Freeley
"Sounded Simple's coaching was extremely effective for me. Paddy knows the game and he knows how to teach it. Math, bluffs, value, hand reading, player types, short stacks - he has a good command on how to profitably navigate through all of these situations and then some." -Tod Marcus (Skreech808)
