BIO

Around November 2007 I came to a disconcerting realization – I wasn’t very good at poker. I contacted Entity and we came up with a plan that became the Real Life: Micromlit Grinder series. Our videos have been very successful – through three seasons I have moved up from $0.50/$1 to $5/$10, and the series format has been borrowed for similar series in NL, HU LHE, and SNG’s.

During that time I have been an extremely active member of the DeucesCracked community, and I’m now very excited to be making a foray into the world of coaching. I plan to bring the same attitude to coaching that I have on the forums: enthusiasm, omnipresence, and a love of poker. My students can expect me to be highly accessible, both during and in between our sessions.

A big part of my improvement as a poker player was an opportunity I had that many microlimit players don’t – to get coached. As such, my goal is to make coaching more accessible for aspiring players stuck in the micros and to help them move up in limits. I believe the fact that I was so recently playing the microlimits means I am very familiar with those games and how to beat them.

As stated, my priority is making sure microlimit players can get the help they need. If coaching seems a financial impossibility, please contact me to see if we can come to some sort of arrangement. For example, I am certainly willing to offer discounts for multiple sessions because I believe fostering a long term coach/student relationship is beneficial to both parties.
