Daaaaaaang16

My name is Nick Davies and I play online as daaaaaaang16. Growing up I played any sport possible and developed a love for athletics and competition. In high school I was an all league baseball player and a member of a state championship winning swim team. In college I needed an outlet for my competitive nature and I luckily found poker. I started playing SNGs and small stakes cash online in 2003 and did this off and on for a few years before finding MTTs and falling in love. I have been playing MTTs since 2006 and professionally since late 2009.

My coaching experience comes from sports and school. I taught thousands of hours of private swim lessons and hundred of hours tutoring at the University of Oregon. I got into poker coaching after successfully teaching my little brother and a couple friends how to play MTTs. I posted an ad on 2+2 in February 2010 and have been coaching poker ever since. In that time I have had over 50 students and have seen some amazing improvement in my student’s game and my own.

A typical session with me is done over Skype voice as we go over a recent hand history or specific hands picked out by the student. As we go over these hands or the tournament we will discuss leaks, strengths, strategy and any question the student may have.
