Online has been a really tough proposition over the last week and as the signs seemed to indicate, in one sense I suppose there was an inevitability to a downswing coming around. To be perfectly honest I didn’t navigate (note the deliberate use of the past tense!) it as well as I would have liked although the fact that my bankroll is still intact is – I hope – an indication that my ability to weather these storms has improved ... (continued)
I’m back on the grind train this month, assuming I can get my PC to work inthe other room while I destroy and rebuild the room it’s currently in. (Btw there will be pics of destruction and rebuilding once the works done…stay tuned) Anyway: Poker Goals: 1) 7500 VPPS This is due to the fact that Pokerstars this month has cash credits up for grabs again and I intended to get the first 3 layers ($8, $40 and $200). This will al ... (continued)
In todays day and age, Poker is more openly discussed. In the past, players used to travel from casino to casino from game to game to try and make decent wager playing poker. And if they were lucky they would make friends with regular players similar to themselves that traveled the same rounds which made the sharing of poker knowledge very limited. However with the help of our beloved interwebz, modern day poker players are able to pl ... (continued)
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/69/micro-stakes-pl-nl/50nl-trips-bad-kicker-bb-facing-river-shove-572812/ This is a hand my student asked me about, I made 3 posts and I want to make sure i’m thinking about this situation clearly enough.
It’s no secret that I don’t enjoy poker. It’s like taking a psychological beating on a daily basis while applying the precision of a surgeon to a tedious task where everyone is out to get each other. Lately I just can’t bring myself to play. I’ve taken about a week off and I still would rather poke myself with sharp things than play a hand (Not joking… Vry srs) I’m taking this as a sign that maybe I need to re-eva ... (continued)
In the end I got frustrated (mixture of bad play and bad luck) and turned into a whale at $.5/$1, playing loosy-goosey aggro, donating all the chips I’d gathered patiently at $.25/$.50 to the passing sharks at the higher stakes. Thanks to the Biggest Bonus Ever promotion and rakeback, my bankroll wasn’t completely obliterated. I’m still rolled for $.25/$.50. In terms of the challenge, I accrued $30 ... (continued)
Yeah more poker indeed. I got a little burnt out from too many donkaments and now getting back into putting in my daily hands. Today was uneventful, a “reg fish†(basically this guy on FTP I have played like a dozen times, never for more than say 50 hands who will dump 10bb’s or hit and run me) hit and ran me flush to flush. NL action was good, I stacked 2 shortstackers but that’s about it. Short session but I thi ... (continued)
12+ hours and the internets still doesn’t have episode 3. The first TV show I’ve purchased online, ever. Well worth every penny too…..
I see i’m not yet cool enough on Twitter for Krantz to be following me. All the others are but Krantz is probably too busy making money. For everyone else http://twitter.com/RibboDotCom is the place to be, especially if you want notification of when i’m offering free coaching for a Deuces Cracked video….
