Carpe Noctum

      I just got done with my second HU session for the day.  It went rather well.  I did manage to loose 2 400bb pots to the same opponent, one to a suckout and the other when I went full steam ahead with a draw where he wound up calling a big check raise with a float and spiked TP on the turn.  Either way I liked how I played both hands vs. that particular opponent, and I was glad I was able to come back to win most of the money that I was down.  He still wound up leaving after a bit, but at least he didn't hit and run me.
      The session wound up being a success however.  I managed to beat 3 other opponents that I was fortunate enough to face.  One which was a shortstacker that decided to play with his 40bb stack.  I luckily kept hitting the deck from every angle.  He kept reloading for a bit so I was very glad for that.  In any case, I'm up a bit under $800 for the last 3 days so I'm pretty pleased with that.  Its mostly been 50NLHU but I've mixed in some 100NL and 200NL as well.  I still want to make sure I log 2-3 sessions a day and keep boosting my roll to where I want it to get too.
      I wound up having to withdraw about $950, which kind of sucks but life is life.  Two more medical bills came through the mail and I need to get on those in order to make sure I handle the debt as it comes. 
      On a side note, I got to chat a bit with a fellow member from DC who's skype I just got, which was pretty cool.  We've agreed to discuss tournament hands and some HU hands and pretty much everything that might arise in order for both of us to help push each other as much as we can.  I'm looking forward to more skype sessions as discussions are one of the ways that I learn best.  At any rate, its pretty late here and I need to hit the hay.  Peace out guys.
