Anyone esle do this?

I just finished my best session in awhile and I can't help but think about spending money. But then I thought about 2 weeks ago when I had a really good week and just thought it would continue indefinitely. I then proceeded to blow a bunch of money at the bar/strip club (getting drunker than any 28 year old really ever should) and just thought "oh well I'll just put in more hands next week and problem solved." Of course, I ran terrible the whole next week and wished I hadn't blown so much money last weekend (granted, it was a fun night). I guess the poker gods have a way of bringing us back down to earth. Hopefully I'll learn from my mistakes. Anyone else have this problem?

Yup though granted my stake and living situation is way different at the moment. Ran decent at 10 and 20 nl and made my quota for month and spent like 250-300 hundred in 2 nights out down here which is way way way alot for Ecuador in a weekend. Lots of hands at those stakes to make this back. Could have easily had fun spending like 50 but ended up getting a bottle and a girl at the strip club (bottles cost more down here btw) so def hear u.

Yeah, I went on a vacation and then proceeded to lose 90% of my roll in the next two months. Oh well, live and learn. Focus on playing your A game every session and try to forget about the money (this seems to be harder to do when you just spent a lot and had fun). You can hmu on skype if it should suit your fancy. What an eloquent sentence. GL.

Yeah it definitely seems harder when you just got done blowing a bunch of money...it's almost like you put more (unnecessary) pressure on yourself.

I used to but now I just lose a lot of hands instead - my liver and opponents thank me for it.
