Update + some Hannnnndzzz
Update: Since the last post, I’ve played 33.3 hours, 10.4k hands, mostly at 100nl. I had to withdrawal $1k for expenses, but still my BR is up to $7.3k…running goot playing decent.
If I’m going to move back up to MSNL, I need to analyze my game and hands..so once a week this month I’ll post a couple hands with in-depth analysis. So here we go:

Villain is tag/lag. I don’t remember the dynamic if any going on, but calling pre is very marginal, unless I’m playing my A game. 3 bet bluffing is likely better, as he has a low F3b, and high fold to c-bet stat, so he likely calls pre and plays fit or fold on the flop.
His Flop c-bet frequency is high on this dry Jxx board, but his turn c-bet stat is low, so it’s highest EV to call flop as a float.
When he bets the turn, I assume Jx, QQ+ and 99/TT. I have decent direct + implied odds to call. Raising is worse imo, because he’ll ship Jx+ pretty often.
On the river, he rarely has Jx once he checks…he’d want to get value from a PP which would check behind. I think the overbet will fold QQ-AA because on this site at these stakes, people almost never overbet bluff, so he’ll just assume I have the J. He would call a normal bet though.

Calling pre was to keep the fishy UTG in the hand, and because the PFR doesn’t fold to 3bets much and 4 bets a lot. I think folding is better in this spot, unles UTG is a massive whale, not just a fish.
Flop is fine. He’ll c-bet a lot here to fold my small PP. I make a critical mistake on the turn though. Checking is fine…the mistake is not immediately dissecting his bet flop, check turn range. He is rarely doing this with Qx-AA. Likeliest hands are T9, KT, AT, air, FD.
I love to c/r bluff rivers, but on this river, he has Tx or air, so c/r’ing is terrible. At the time, I thought he pot controlled Qx-AA on the turn, which was my mistake. A c/r could fold these hands, but he just doesn’t have them when he checks the turn. I need to put people on ranges before each action I take!!!!!!
