Ramble on

Started great, ended lame...  Hopped on the bike for a ride around Red Rock Canyon.  Super fun.  Beautiful day.  Came home, girlfriend was all like "I'm coming over tonight."  Which sounded great to me.  She was going to have dinner with her parents then head over to my place.  I figure I have a couple hours, so I'll play some poker down at the Venetian.  Poker went okay.  Got an hour in, made a whopping $10, then had some dinner at the Grand Lux.  Shrimp scampi/short rib combo.  So delicious, yet I'm sure so terrible for me.  Anyway, over the course of the evening the girlfriend becomes less and less committed to spending time with me.  Eventually she was just like "Yeah, not gonna happen"  Second weekend in a row she's done that.  I need a new girlfriend.
