Ramble on

I've got a blog elsewhere that I don't take care of, and while I expect readership here to be near zero, I figured the off chance that someone will read my ramblings might make me do it a bit more often.  So for the next month I'll be posting once a day.  It might only be a sentence or two, but I'll do it.

Hi DC!  I'm Xerod, Xero, X, whatever...  I've been a member here for close to a year now and to be honest, I haven't taken full advantage of membership.  I haven't really connected with people, I haven't posted hands, sure I've watched videos, but I've done it pretty passively and I'm sure I've learned just from osmosis, but I certainly haven't hit the learning potential.  In this next month, that's all going to change.  At least that's the short term goal.  I won't play every day and I won't watch a video per day or anything like that, but I will spend the first week of April learning to be a better poker player.  Then I'll build on that by spending the second week of April doing the same thing!  I think you can see where I am going with this.  

Between live poker and online, I do okay.  I make a bit of money.  I bought myself a motorcycle a few weeks ago with winnings.  I get the occasional nice dinner out of it.  But I want to do better.  I'm going to bust out of the micro stakes online, get out of the 1-2 and 2-5 games live.  And I'm going to start today.
