I know this runs are sick, but if you can come out of the otherside you'll be much better equipped to deal with them in the future - because they will happen again. I know you have the technical ability to progress, so this will be your harshest test. Good luck.

Don´t worry, mate, there are days like that. Be glad that it were only 5 BI, if your bankroll management is healthy it shouldn´t bother you. Losing 5 BI in one session is kind of a "regular" experience you should get used to. You will get it back in no time if you keep your head up straight. GL!

Thanks for the tip and for the great advices. You're right with the money factor, it seems to be a problem, but i could cope with tilt, it's the next project.
The 2BI stoploss is nitty, but if we take the NL30-NL50 transition, this way i had to grind up only cca. 3BI when I dropped down. But if i fail every time i will adjust some way. I hope we will meet soon at SSNL:)

Nice to read that you moveing up.

One advice tho, you have to lose respect to money step by step. You cannot think of money value of this. More up you move the less you can think of it.'

And this 2BI loss seems little bit too niti. Dont get me wrong, if its working for you then go ahead. But i just think that its better to make lets say 34 BI's and have 4BI stoploss. That way you have liuttle bit more to room to move.

But good luck and i hope that soon enoug you will be at SSNL :)

Thanks for the math Tack, didn't know about this. Against this guy i would be stacking off so deep only with the nuts. I mean, even 2pair could be very risky as they could have any better (or not).

Yeah, running bad is a menthal test, just like running good. I'm much better at taking the coolers like the 1st hand and the bad beats.
But now I'm bleeding in the leveling preflop AI war against regs.

1st hand: OUCH :(

2nd hand: Please don´t do it, you are deeper than normal, but not actually deep and there are so damn few flops that really help you. I checked it with StoxEV and even if all stars align and Villain always stacks off with any piece of the board (including A5s on a board of KQ5!!) you´re merely break-even if you wait for a hand like 2p+. As it can´t get any better you almost have no chance to profit from your preflop call. 76s is a slightly different story (although it´s probably thinner than one might think).

When running bad (as you obviously do), it´s most important to keep your head clear and not starting to get sloppy. This is like spewing oil into the burning fire.

Ah, and after stopping my rant - grats for this huge pot!!! :D

> "The biggest issue which makes me nervous is that i've made big mistakes."

I formerly used to get mad at myself when I made mistakes, until a very wise man (and great mental coach) told me this:

"You should be grateful for making mistakes, because they show you the topics you didnd´t mastered yet!"

Maybe that helps you as much as it did to me. :)

Thanks for the tips guys, really good points you both mentioned.
I play my draws passively it's true and seems that i'm not that aggressive at fighting for pots. I also feel that I'm bluffed a lot.
My CO range is fairly tight, The blinds is also a big question how i should play.

Thing i noticed are, you are WAYYY to tight in the CO and kind of tight on the btn. Your steal in the CO should be 35-40%, and btn steal could be 50% at least.
Also your W$WSF is extremely LOW. You arent fighting for NEARLY enough pots. I suggest watching grindcore's 2 series on red line.
You arent cbetting enough at all in the CO or btn after raising preflop, try and get your cbet stat closer to 65-75%. You are also being to weak on the river, valuebet thinner with top pair and 2nd pair hands. Adjust your bet size to compensate for this.

Uhm, given that it's 5max you are playing somewhat tightly from UTG and CO.

Also your fold to 3-bet is only 75% which can be considered on the low side. Maybe you should filter hands where you did call a 3-bet and see if you see some mistakes.

Your aggression stats are also on the low side overall. Do you play your draws passively?

Those are a few things to consider. I'm no expert to stats so take my advice with caution.

Thanks for your toughts guys. I know that result orientedness is not a great thing, but at some point it affects me. I also know that it's not that good, struggling with this and wo handling these issues i won't improve as a player. It's better than in the past.
But i use the blog for some kind of self-cure and won't pour the forums w these hands.
I just want to make you feel about the process as i find it interesting how to reach to this point.

Concerning the hands
Hand 3 is a total bad play, i was tilted and couldn't lay down. Wanted to see a flush draw here from the fish.

Hand 4 it's not that easy. Villain is a spewtard 3b monkey and 5b shoving often.

Variance is sick.

The only thing I would say is don't be results orientated, and don't post coolers, yes they suck, but if you post hands that were tough decisions, then you can get the community to help you.

Thanks for the tip. I'm experimenting with smaller ISO raise sizes and to be more selective with my cbets. Will see

Anyway, I've played enough hands on my limit to stick to my observations.

Oh. Well it would be interesting to see if these observations persist over a larger sample size?
