3b or not?
I'm thinking a lot about what hands we should 3b with and why. And most importantly what's working for me, for my overall gameplan.
Prime examples are AK-AJ type hands. The mantra says that we should almost always 3b with them in the classic steal situations (especially OOP) like BB vs SB, blind vs steals, BTN vs CO. But is it really the case? They are just A highs (my head will be cut off for these words i guess). We should defend our blinds, position (especially at 5max i play now) and balancing our 3b range (against regulars), i think it's not a question. But honestly i just find myself in thin spots unimproved with these hands (especially OOP) as 3bettor and the case is not better if i got action when i flop TP. I much prefer a super polarized range.
I'm a big fan of inducing lately and like playing postflop leveraging my skill advantage (hoping that i have).
But with the following hands i can represent my thinking much better way:
1. Villain is 24/22/7, losing regular. It should be a mandatory 3b in bvb. But what should we do if we got 4b? I can convince myself that it's bvb, we could shove here or we can make a laydown losing the dead money we created. With calling we can use our positional advantage and our skill. And then villain could convince himself that it's a cooler, however on the turn if he is a competent player he should know that i wont raise him up with worse.

3. 25/21, fishy reg who cannot laydown. He cbets 70% and 2b almost zero. If i 3b pre i'm narrowing his range a lot and i think it's really important issue concerning my idea.
