I was doing pretty well at 25nl untill….Duh Duh Duh Backdoor flush over backdoor flush, set over set, and well a very bad played tptk vs what i thought was a weaker top pair based on preflop action but he had quads so back to 10nl for a lil while.

I think I’ve been able to work on right cbetting spots and good flops to c/r…im pretty thrilled that my red line >=0 especially at the micros where I have always had a pretty steep decline. Of course sample size is an issue.

I was sweating another micro balla yesterday who had just made the jump to 25nl about 5k hands ago and after watching for awhile I decided to take a shot 2 tabling for a little bit. The Villian in question was a 22/21/inf over 60 hands I had some hands on him at 10nl and a note that he had 4b TT vs my kk and i stacked him. This felt really good but I think his play is super spewy.

Also on another side note it has been a week today since I have been eating healthier and working out everyday and I lost 5lbs this week which i feel has helped my thought process and ability to play a bit longer. This is another personal goal to lose 50 lbs because at my high point i was 6’4" and 340lbs…as of right now I am 6’4" and 302 lbs and my goal is 260 prior to the mardi gras party I’m attending in mobile, al in late february so lets get it. Hopefully the weight will continue to drop like my redline at the micros

I used to think i had it all figured out during the party days and thought post UIGEA i could make it happen but I was wrong. I had subscribed to dc w/ a goal to be the one of the best working it up through the stakes. As stupid as it sounds one of my first steps of that goal was to get my ptr graph above 0 from all the dumb shit and poor bankroll management i had in the past and today i have made that goal which is solid proof that dc has made me a winning player at the micros. Thank you.

I have been watching the coaching tree series and the way that baluga and tubasteve break down the hands and every situation into such great detail has given me a new way to look at my session reviews and IT’S FUCKIN WORKING. Not to mention that the more I think about poker the easier my decisions are coming during actual play…I WILL NOT BE A CALLING STATION ANYMORE FOR LACK OF OTHER OPTIONS. I am extremely pleased w/ my play for the last few days and here is a graph of my total progree at 10nl so far.

I am starting to put in a good bit more volume and I am fairly pleased w/ the results…My bankroll is almost to the point where I feel I can move fully up to 25 nl. here is a pic of the hands i have on my new computer

I havn’t done this in awhile just because of holidays and stuff. I have been playing some husngs to go along with the 10nl and shots at 25nl. So far since I got my new computer i have 6k hands at 10NL @7ptbb/100 and roughly 60 heads up sngs w/ a 60%roi but i went on a heater at 4 mans for awhile… Oh well just got stacked set over set so……

OK so i dropped down to 5nl after swinging so retardely monkey hard and moved my roll to stars. So far everything is going pretty well. I’ve had someone sweat me everyday so far so my game is definately improving minus a few coolers but i can’t win every one. OK, yeah, and mmmk dropped 8 buyins today all getting in on the flop w/ 70+% equity just to get sucked out on river. I even dropped down to one penny two penny to tilt off some steam and still got it bad, turn the nut flush and get it in for 100bb at 2NL and dude rivers a str8 flush. But I can say one good thing and that is the Secret HQ FFFFTW…I hooked up w/ a group and they have all been helpful. I had a chance to sweat “MasterAsylum” and while he may have thought i was gonna find some leaks he ended up helping me plug alot of mine and thats huge for me and I thought he played extremely well despite some sick ass coolers on the end of session.I can’t begin to say the difference from when i was at cardrunners to deuces cracked.(deuces cracked trumps ther competition). And on some of personal stuff after all that mind boggling downswinging, I was gonna late register for the Breast Cancer tourney on stars after I got back from the store and some dude dead slam clips my truck and tears up the front left all to hell so nevertheless I didn’t feel like playng at all.

Hey yall I’m Tim. I’m 25 and from Virginia and have been playing poker for a few years but nothing serious. Since the economy hit the dumps it appears that my my nice cushioned 50k+perdium/yr job isnt needed for awhile. I was an electrical superintendent running 40+ men and $1,000,000 jobs. I have a decent cushion and I am starting my journey at 10NL and am going to make a run at this pokah thang for awhile.
