HEM, TableNinjaFT, WSOP ME, switching projects
Boring update time.
I totally LOVE hold'em manager and am never going back. Purchase of HEM and TableNinjaFT imminent. It's so much easier to use and it does amazing cool stuff. I spent about 11 hours yesterday importing my PT3 database.
During said import process, I glanced back at my session stats from earlier in the year when I got "back" into poker. I started out trying to multitable $10NL full ring, not focusing on in-game learning or deep thinking per se. I lost a ton of money during this process, and was kept afloat only by my MTT success. Subsequently I switched to 6max games and played fewer tables (usually 4 but ranging from 2-6). The more I studied, the better (IMO) I got. But this period of my past loomed over me. I played 63K hands or something at 10NL multitabling 8-16 at a time and lost about $220 overall. Just now, I noticed that over that sample, I ran at $210 below EV. Maybe I wasn't as bad as I thought. Regardless, I ran like sh*t!!!
As of yesterday, I'm trying to grind a bit of $10NL full ring to build a bit of money back. I showed a good winrate at $25NL this spring, but had to cash down to pay for moving expenses etc. I'll be playing a mix of FR and 6max with the aid of 'Ninja.
Here's a quick link from pokernews.com about the WSOP Main Event November Nine:

yeah, ninja is awesome. i first used it playing 4 tiled tables and i loved it even then. right now i use it for 12 tables stacked, and it's even more amazing. you can literally hot key anything. download the trial and play around with it.
