Back into the thick of things.

So last weekend was my first time in Vegas! I already posted all the pre-Vegas thoughts in the entry before, now that I have been home for quite a while, I would like to write a bit about the actual trip, my thoughts on Vegas and perhaps some observations on betting the first two rounds of NCAA tournament.

First of Vegas. I think I would have enjoyed it more had we not stayed in some shitty hotel/casino (Imperial Palace). Our room was a handycap room that was so stunk of cigarette small I probably got lung cancer just for spending three nights in the room. I believe it cost my college buddy only 60$ or something but still, if I ever return to Las Vegas, I am either staying at the Wynn/Encore or The Cosmopolitan.  Both of those where my favorite on the strip. The food in Vegas was good with sooo many choices! I would recomend to go all out there. With so many options why not eat like a king. The night life was a blast as well. Adam used a service in our group that got is in to clubs without a line and that was a HUGE +. The service is VIPNITE.COM. Friday nite we got a bottle in the club PURE and saturday we went to XS. I think I lost 1k playing craps in XS. So with food being good, and Nightlife being amazing, gambling everywhere what is one to complain about. I didnt like that all there was to do was GAMBLE. I must have lost so much money just cause there was nothing else to do but GAMBLE.  I will be honest when I was leaving after 4 days, I just wanted to GTFO of Vegas. I would never live there. 

Second of Losing. I lost like 4K. I could not win at anything. All my Basketball bets I lost. Black Jack I had my first session be a winning one. After that I got creamed for 4 straight days. My friend tried to teach me craps and I must say I have never had a more costly 4day lesson session in my life. Poker was just too boring live. I played 2/5 PLO and didnt run so hot. I am sticking to Online, Do not like the feel of live. I get too bored. Each orbit seems like it takes an hour. The slow pace of the game makes me try to do crazy things, that work once in a while but for the most part get me spewing pretty large.

Third of NCAA betting. I found that the winning strategy would have been to bet all #1 seeds to cover spreads and for the rest bet Underdogs. Will try this next year in the first two rounds. 

Overall I would go to Vegas again. Some things I would do different. 

1. Get a Nice Room.

2. Play more poker/ less table games accepting the slow pace.

3. Run good. Go out and party more :0)

4. Go single or take ur girl with you, kinda sucks to be in a relationship and go with buddies. Sucks not being able to get down in Vegas, I know how they say what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas but I just can't have shit weigh on my conciousness.
