Self-exclusion

For university-related reasons, I’ve decided to exclude myself from playing on Full Tilt Poker and Pokerstars for the next week. I’ve been putting in a lot of playing hours recently, and while my poker (and my winrate) has improved dramatically, my academic performance has notably dropped. I love poker and everything, but my degree has to come first, and so I’m going to take the next week and focus on school. I’ll still watch a couple videos, browse 2p2 etc, but I’m not going to play another hand for the next 7 days.

See you at the tables next week.

It's very important to realize your true priorities in life, and that poker won't disappear just because you take a break. It's good to step away sometimes.

I also am in college and need to remind myself to make sure there is a balance between my play and my studies. The same goes for every other activity I do and school.
