Doin' the job

Been through a pretty bad downswing again this week. I think I lost 8 BIs at 50NL FR Rush in less than 3k hands. Lost a few at 50NL 6max as well. 

I think my biggest leak is simply playing too loose. Stealing the blinds relentlessly and playing very loose-aggressive is fun, but I get myself into too many marginal spots that, honestly, I'm not good enough to navigate at the moment. This may also be why I do very well at FR (Rush aside), but not at 6max - I overadjust, never give anyone any credit, play too loose and spew off in various spots. 

This month I'm going to play only 6max, and I'm going to play with an overall VPIP of less than 25, hopefully around 17/15-20/18. I'm going to make liberal use of my "FOLD" button - preflop, facing 3bets, cbets, triple barrels, steals, or whatever. I'm going to stay out of as many marginal spots as possible.

Note about Rush: I've played about 8k hands total of 50NL FR Rush, and am down about 13 BIs. Looking at my WTSD, it's about 25%, which is the same as normal FR for me. My W$SD in normal FR is 52%, whereas in Rush it's 38%. I think this means that I'm running bad in a decent amount of spots, and also probably calling down in bad spots.
