October results, november goals
October:
Pretty much a breakeven month for me (TY rakeback). My shot at 100NL didn't work out so well (1 outered and 2 outered postflop 3 times, all for >200bb pots, but whatever), but on the plus side, this is the most volume I've ever played in one month ever. 16 tabling really isn't that hard once you get used to it.Â
One thing I'm happy about is that for the last 10-15k hands or so, I have stopped my red line from nosediving and eating all my profits. I think if I can maintain a breakeven red line then November could be a very good month for me.
November goals:
- At least 50k hands
- Breakeven red line
- 10k hands of 100NL
- 10k hands of HU
- Watch all of Coaching Kristy and really work on my 6max game - take extensive notes
- More post-session review
- Post at least 10 hands in the forums
Also as a pipedream I would love to get on the Ultimate Grinder Leaderboard for my stakes on PTR. In October I had one day where I was the second biggest winner at my stakes on Full TIlt - while something like that isn't completely in my control, I think a month-long attempt is much more likely to be achievable. It's just a matter of volume.

Hi, I had the nosediving red line for a long time and my advice really would be to cut down on the number of tables you play. Its not the quantity of hands you play, its how much thought you put into each hand. I used to play 8-10 tables and my results were hindered by that red line. I dropped it down to 5 and since then its much more level. I was a long time struggling 25nl player but now am a 200nl reg much down to this adjustment I think!
Also I would seriously recommend inavaccuum's series ying and yang. Very good for analysing players ranges when they take aggro lines postflop.
